Install Home Economics

Home Economics is in beta. Each beta is a finished, tested release; you're getting changes sooner, not unfinished features. The app never updates itself, so come back here, or watch Releases, for new versions.

Mac

You need macOS 15 or later.

The Mac beta isn't available yet. This page will link to it as soon as it's published.

To install, open the downloaded disk image and drag Home Economics to your Applications folder. It's signed by the developer and checked by Apple, so it opens without a security warning.

iPhone and iPad

You need iOS or iPadOS 18 or later.

The iPhone and iPad beta isn't available yet.

TestFlight updates the app when a new beta is available.

Feedback from the beta

In TestFlight you can send feedback: a screenshot with a comment, or, after a crash, a crash report. Sending it is always your choice, and Apple shows you what will be sent first. Crash reports don't include your documents.

Screenshots show whatever is on the screen. Before you take one, open a sample document rather than a real bill or statement, or leave the screenshot out and describe the problem in words.

Feedback goes to Apple and then to the developer, who uses it only to fix problems in Home Economics.
